David Milia, C.E.T, MBA
Chief Strategic OfficerDavid has a diverse background in surveying, exploration, engineering procurement, and construction management. He transitioned to project management and corporate leadership, working at Encana and Cenovus in various roles. He later became an advisor to boards and sub-committees before moving into academia. David served as the Academic Chair for the B.Sc. in Construction Project Management at SAIT and held leadership positions at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He oversaw numerous sustainability initiatives and seminars informed by his 20+ years of experience in the energy industry. David holds dual undergraduate degrees, a technical diploma, and a dual MBA focused on global energy management, sustainability, and project management. He is also a Certified Engineering Technologist.
